The Waldinger Corporation Acquires SBC Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc., in Bloomington, Illinois

DES MOINES, Iowa (Nov. 20, 2024) -- The Waldinger Corporation is thrilled to announce it has acquired SBC Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc., a leading HVAC service contractor in Bloomington, Illinois. Founded by Ski and Bonnie Coone in 1996, SBC Heating and Air Conditioning performs HVAC service work for customers in the central Illinois market. This is the second Illinois branch location for The Waldinger Corporation, following the 2021 acquisition of GP Systems in Peoria.

All SBC Heating and Air Conditioning teammates will be retained as part of this acquisition and the business will continue to offer HVAC services to existing and new customers throughout central Illinois. Ryan Otto has been named service leader and will lead the day-to-day operations of the Bloomington branch.
