The Wall of Education

Waldinger was asked by one of our general contractors to participate in Des Moines’ Brody Middle School career fair. For it, the GC built a small wall out of metal studs, installed sheetrock on the wall, mudding and taping to demonstrate the different steps in building. The GC then handed it over to us. We had plumbers do a rough-in for a lavatory; next we did the electrical install of an outlet and switch; finally the sheet metal department roughed in ductwork and installed a grille. This was all to represent the work behind basically everything the junior high kids would see in their own houses!
