IMT Corporate Headquarters

We fully modeled and coordinated the 88,000 square-foot IMT Corporate Headquarters as a design-build project executed through us as a single-source MEP contractor. Waldinger achieved success with the project by coordinating and utilizing shop prefabrication, with field leaders defining batch production and delivery using three-week look-ahead scheduling. This streamlined site material handling, with custom mobilization units to securely deliver materials where and when they were needed. 

Our electrical scope included 100% LED lighting with the following elements: indirect lighting in open office areas, extensive LED site and landscape lighting, egress lighting inverters, an emergency generator, networked lighting control with facility management software, an under-floor cellular raceway system for open office areas, fire alarm with speaker/strobe, a power distribution system, branch power wiring, mechanical system power wiring, communication security and AV system coordination and rough in, uninterruptable power supply (UPS) for critical loads and the data center, UL listed lighting protection system, building information modeling (BIM) coordination and clash detection.

Our structured cabling scope included 900 Category 6 network drops for voice and data connectivity, a 24-strand OM4 fiber optic backbone system between the server room, building IDF closets and DEMARC locations, sound masking (Lencore System with 340 speakers), security card access system installation, security CCTV camera system installation, security visitor management system and a security emergency phone intercom system.
