Sioux City Federal

Sioux City Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse

The Sioux City Federal and U.S. Courthouse Building was built in 1932 using a popular design of the time, Art Deco. The building remains in spectacular condition and now has seven modern air handling units and a state-of-the-art temperature control system.

The Waldinger Corporation completed nearly all of the work in seven weeks, but the job required ten months of project team meetings prior to construction.

Due to the critical nature of the business in the court house by Federal Judges, U.S. Marshalls, and Iowa Senators, we had a fast-track nine-day window to replace seven air handling units, VAV boxes and temperature controls. The facility manager nicknamed our tradespeople "The Dream Team” due to their extraordinary skill and effort.
